DIY Dip Nails
That's right you read it correctly! Today I am going to tell you how you can save MAJOR $$$ by doing your own dip nails at home!
When you go to the nail salon you can easily spend $50 on dip nails... and the worst part is, in 2-3 weeks you gotta go back and get them redone.
Why do you need to do your nails?
'My mom always drilled it in my head to have nice, pretty nails,' Kylie (Jenner) said. “It’s just really important to her. Anytime she meets someone, she’ll look at your fingernails.
She does have a point... having nice nails really does pull your whole look together
So.....

What you have all been waiting for.....
HOW TO DIY DIP NAILS
Disclaimer: I am not a nail tech so I don't know if this is the right way to do your nails. This is just the way I did them and I really liked the results.
Purchase:
You will need to purchase a couple of things
2. Kiara Sky Dip Powder I choose D514 The Simple Life
3. A nail file and buffer from your local pharmacy or grocery store
Instructions:
1. Take off any nail polish you may have on and buff out your nails
2. Apply number 1 of the Revel Nail PRO BASE
3. Dip your nails in the powder of choice
4. Apply number 2 of the Revel Nail ACTIVATOR
5. Dip your nails in the powder of choice
6. Apply another coat of number 2 of the Revel Nail ACTIVATOR
7. Dip your nails in the powder of choice. (if you like the pigmentation of the color on the third dip then you can continue with the steps but if you don't, repeat steps 6 and 7 until you reach the color you want)
8. Apply the last coat of number 2 of the Revel Nail ACTIVATOR
9. file down your nails and buff the top of the dip to make it smooth
10. Apply Number 3 of the Revel Nail FINISH GEL
viola you have finished
TIP: To make your nails look more "perfect" all I did was just keep filing the edges down
Result:
Overall, I really loved how the nails turned out. They weren't perfect the first time but I learned a lot and knew exactly how to improve them. These DIP nails took me about 1 hour to do which isn't bad considering it takes just as long if not longer at the nail salon. I highly recommend this DIY!
